Scheduling your GetLabs blood draw

Patients

Overview

In this guide, you’ll learn the step-by-step process to schedule your blood draw appointment with our partner GetLabs. With Getlabs you can access a nearby mobile phlebotomist to draw your labs from the convenience of your home or office.

GetLabs is available for all the tests offered on Fullscript, including both specialty test kits and Quest Diagnostics.

Note:

There is an additional fee for the mobile blood draw, which is paid directly to GetLabs and varies based on your location. You’ll pay for this service fee when you schedule your appointment.

Quest and Labcorp locations do not draw for test kits from specialty lab companies like Genova, Doctor’s Data and Diagnostic Solutions, so if you need assistance finding an alternative option other than GetLabs for your blood draw, please contact our support team and we’ll be happy to find one for you.

If you have a Quest order, use this guide to learn more about scheduling your blood draw directly with Quest.

Scheduling your GetLabs blood draw

When you order a specialty test from Genova, Doctor’s Data or Diagnostic Solution that requires a blood draw, you can access the GetLabs scheduling link right from your Fullscript account once your test kit has been delivered.

From here you’ll follow these simple steps to schedule your blood draw through the GetLabs booking page

  1. Enter your location

Type in the address where you’d like the blood draw to take place, whether it’s your home, office, or another private, convenient location. Ensure the address is accurate to avoid any issues with the appointment.

Note:

If GetLabs is not available in your area, please contact our support team and we’ll be happy to provide you with other local options that can draw for your specialty test kits.

  1. Choose a Date and Time

Select a date and time that works best for you. GetLabs offers flexible scheduling options, so pick a time slot that fits into your day, with the option to have the phlebotomist arrive 2 hours before the selected arrival window.

  1. Enter Your Contact Information

  1. Select the patient

Select who you’re booking this appointment for by choosing the correct patient from the drop-down. If you’re the patient’s parent, legal caretaker or caretaker check this associated box.

Important:

Ignore the option to upload your insurance card. Both your blood draw and your lab testing are cash-pay only. Insurance reimbursement is not available, including direct insurance reimbursement and retroactive reimbursement via a Superbill.

  1. Provide your lab order

Upload your lab order (also known as a requisition) that will include all your information, your provider’s information and the testing that has been ordered. You can find this in your Fullscript account by:

Note:

If need any assistance finding your requisition to upload, please contact the labs support team to help you locate this.

Select that you have a copy of your lab order, upload the document and choose Drop-off/Kit Partner for your preferred lab.

  1. Complete the Booking with Payment

After you’ve finished providing all your information, you will pay for your mobile blood draw to complete the booking. The total amount will be displayed transparently under the total order.
