Rupa Health Acquisition FAQs

Providers

Overview

The beta launch of labs on Fullscript in August 2024 marked a key milestone in advancing our vision of supporting the entire patient care cycle. Just two months later, on October 10, 2024, Fullscript furthered our commitment by acquiring Rupa Health, a leader in simplifying lab testing management for providers.

This acquisition strengthens our ability to offer the most comprehensive clinical platform available. From integrative specialists to conventional physicians, all providers will now have access to the infrastructure, education, and decision-making tools necessary to deliver effective whole-person care at scale.

FAQs

What does this acquisition mean for me as a provider?

This acquisition allows us to deliver a unified solution to all providers that combines lab access, supplement dispensing, and personalized wellness solutions through one platform. You’ll benefit from expanded access to diagnostics and clinical tools while maintaining the high-quality service you’ve come to rely on to support your patients and your practice.

How will this impact my workflow and patient care if I currently use Rupa Health?

If you currently order your lab testing through Rupa Health, there will be no change to your workflow or your patients’ experience. You will continue to login and use your existing Rupa account to manage labs as usual. As we integrate Rupa’s features into Fullscript, we’ll keep you informed on updates designed to improve how you manage labs, supplements, and the full care cycle under one roof. Our priority during this transition is to add functionality without disrupting the data continuity and lab processes that have already been established for your practice.

Who should I contact for questions related to my Rupa orders?

Please continue to direct your Rupa Health related questions to Rupa’s support team. This ensures your lab orders are processed efficiently, and your patients continue to receive timely care. For assistance, contact Rupa’s team

How will this impact my experience if I currently use Fullscript to order labs?

If you have already started managing labs through Fullscript during our beta, there will be no changes to how you order labs. We will continue to expand our labs product and evaluate Rupa Health’s offerings to create a unified solution through Fullscript. This integration will allow us to innovate faster, giving you access to a wider range of diagnostic tests and features—all through your Fullscript login. At present, there will continue to be no separate platform fees charged to providers or transaction fees charged to patients when ordering testing through Fullscript. As new features and labs are introduced, we’ll keep you updated. Your feedback is essential in shaping the best diagnostic experience for both you and your patients and we encourage you to share your insights and feedback with us at labs@fullscript.com

How expansive is the combined lab partner network?

Fullscript currently partners with six of the industry’s top labs: Quest Diagnostics, Genova, Precision Analytical (DUTCH), Diagnostic Solutions, Doctor’s Data and 3×4. Rupa Health adds more than 25 additional lab partners across a broad range of health categories, significantly expanding the diagnostic options available for providers to deliver personalized care. Over the coming months, we will be reviewing Rupa’s lab partners for integration into Fullscript and we welcome your input on lab companies or tests you’d like to see added. Reach out to us at labs@fullscript.com with your feedback.

What other Rupa features will be integrated into Fullscript’s platform?

In addition to the expanded lab partnerships, Rupa University—a leading educational platform—will become available to Fullscript providers. Rupa University offers expert-led courses on topics ranging from lab fundamentals and clinical protocols to in-depth lab interpretation bootcamps. Through Fullscript Academy, we remain committed to delivering the highest quality educational resources across labs, supplements, and whole-person care. Our goal is to ensure that Fullscript continues to serve as both the hub for managing your full patient care cycle as well as supporting your clinical expertise and professional development, all in one place.

My EHR is currently integrated with Rupa. Will this change if I order labs through Fullscript?

For now, you can continue to order through your Rupa EHR integration with zero interruption. We recognize the importance of EHR integrations for diagnostic workflows and will ensure that any changes are communicated well in advance. As we continue to innovate and enhance our labs offering on Fullscript, we’ll introduce lab specific EHR integrations to better support your practice.

What support resources will be available during the transition?

You’ll have continued access to Rupa’s sales and support teams for current lab orders through their platform. Additionally, your Fullscript team will be available to address any questions you may have about the integration, new features, or the expanded lab network. As the integration moves forward, we’ll provide personalized support, including dedicated onboarding and tailored training, to ensure your practice adapts seamlessly and maximizes the new features—all while maintaining uninterrupted patient care.
