Dispensary setup for international practitioners
Overview
If you care for patients in another country (US and Canada only) impacted by our inability to ship across the border, you can create a dispensary in that country to send patients plans and provide them access to Fullscript’s expansive product catalog (optional). Credentials must be uploaded and approved before patients can order through the new dispensary.
To make a profit from patient orders in a dispensary, you must satisfy the requirements of our payment processor, Stripe, to open the account and enable payments. Alternatively, practitioners can open a no-profit dispensary to dispense products virtually while avoiding tax implications and still providing patients a 10% discount on products in our catalog.
Before creating a new dispensary, please be aware that:
- You’ll need to log in with a separate country-specific URL to access this additional dispensary.
- Dispensaries can’t be linked. Patients in this dispensary will be managed separately.
- Brand and product availability will vary. You can see available brands in each country here.
Select a sign-up link to get started: Provider sign-up form (United States) or Provider sign-up form (Canada).
Setting up an international profit account
To create an international Fullscript dispensary, you must meet the requirements to open a Stripe account in another country. It’s also important to keep tax implications in mind when opening a profit account in a country you don’t reside.
Stripe requires international business accounts to have the following:
✔ A tax ID in that country
✔ A physical location in that country (can’t be a P.O. box)
✔ A phone number in that country
✔ A government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license, from any country.
✔ A physical bank account in that country; this can’t be a virtual bank account. Accounts must be denominated in USD for US accounts. Canadian accounts allow for CDN or USD bank accounts.
More on tax obligations
If you have questions about how an additional Fullscript account will impact your taxes, we recommend consulting with a tax professional, as we cannot provide comprehensive tax advice. For general information, please see:

Setting up an international no-profit account
If you don’t meet the requirements to create a profit account in a country you don’t reside (US or Canada) or prefer not to earn additional income through Fullscript, you can proceed with a no-profit account to dispense products virtually to your patients. Patients of no-profit dispensaries receive a 10% discount on all products.

Credentials
You’ll be required to upload your credentials to confirm your status as a healthcare provider. Fullscript can’t accept proof of licensure for international accounts, though we accept and review international degrees and diplomas. This means that if you’ve previously submitted your license or registration to work in your profession outside of North America, you’ll need to submit the education that led to your licensure. Please provide the related degree, diploma, or applicable education for review when completing your account.
